Fucking pricks

It's amusing how I had two very unpleasant experience on a same day.

I had dinner with S at IKEA, and it was crowded as hell. We managed to find a seat where there's a woman sitting alone and we asked if the seats were empty. She said "yes go ahead." But since there were only two of us, we asked if she could help us look after our stuff while we order our food. Her reply was this, "Sure, but I shall not be held responsible for any missing items."

Seriously?
Of all the beautiful words in the human language, you choose those words?

Of course, we said, "Sure, so you don't mind looking after it?". And she repeated, yet again, "Yes, I do not mind, but I won't be held responsible for anything missing." I mean, yes sure. That is a legally sound statement, but all I hear is, "Sure, but don't blame me if anything is lost, or if I took something." It's not a virtue to judge people based on first impressions, but man, is she a bitch?! Of course, thanks to S we managed to find another seat, far away from that miserable low life.

Then comes late night gaming. Just a friend behaving like a spoiled brat. I am not fond of a one-sided argument, but I have to say this, "You reap what you sow."

Though this was an incredibly lousy way to end a nice Friday night, the good things that happened was that I got to catch up with my friend, I spammed BBC's Sherlock Holmes, had my childhood friend siding me and had a good night's sleep. I suppose the feeling of annoyance is not something that I could sever instantly, but it's something I should abstain from dwelling too deep into. And so I shall. Tomorrow is a big day, and I won't let anything spoil it.

First day of ITP was...
Monday, March 05, 2012

SHIT.

There's only one acceptable way of phrasing it. It was shit.

The introduction was more than 2 hours long. My butt was aching sitting down still for such a long time. I'm more of the fidgety kind, especially when I have absolutely nothing to do. Since there were new employees, the briefing was targeted towards them.

Which, made it really pointless for the interns.

Anyway, I learned a whole bunch of stuffs today that I'm pretty sure I would never use them in my entire life. At least, I hope that I will not be stuck in a situation where I'll have to use them.

My supervisor/colleagues were really nice to me, so it made everything pretty smooth through.
In summary, admin work sucks, paperwork sucks, filing document sucks, checking for errors suck.

On the brighter side of things, there was something really awesome in the pantry.
It's awesome to the point of majestic.

It's a vending machine, that doesn't require money.

HOW, FREAKING AWESOME IS THAT.
I mean, you just press and the drinks just drops. LIKE OHMYGOD.

Anyway, met up with my classmates and had Seoul Garden after our work. I mean come on, it'll be bad not to celebrate this shitty event. I don't know if it's worth it since my eyes are on the verge of closing. On the topic of my eyes, I apparently rubbed it too hard one night, and now it looks swollen, like someone punched me. So just FYI, don't get any stupid ideas, I just rubbed it too hard. (that's what she said)

Against all odds I manage to churn out a post before I topple, so appreciate it minions and please, talk to me for the next few weeks, especially during my work hours. In the form of messaging. I cannot stand the boringness of it. I finally get how people can go crazy doing this kinda things.

Well, till then!

After SOPA, PIPA I found out about ACTA
Saturday, January 21, 2012

Now, here's something else I want to bring attention to the world.

[ACTA]
Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement

Here's a video to illustrate the point.

Now here's the thing we are too late. The act is already signed and passed on 1st October 2011. We're screwed, have you wondered why Youtube says "This video is not available in your country" ? Now you know why.

Here's the other thing.

Singapore also signed on to it. So... basically, if you know how to petition against it, do it. And spread the word around. You've definitely seen cases from your friends who got fined for downloads and stuffs. It could go up to thousands.

Honestly, the internet is at war right now. People need to know it.

And how the fuck can they pass a law like this in secret? What the fuck seriously. As a geek I'm really annoyed at the situation at hand, and annoyed that I didn't find out about this early. Oh fuck this shit.

Screw Christmas
Sunday, December 25, 2011

I know I posted that before, but again, this fits the mood.

I'm not the type to celebrate Christmas, though the lights are pretty and all. I don't think there'll be daily pictures for today and yesterday unless something interesting crops up out of the blue.

But to make up for that, I've thought of another great post to keep anyone who's fucked on Christmas entertained.

I'm probably going to split it into 3 parts. So stay tuned for it. I guess. Ohhh this sucks.

Merry Christmas my minions.
