All meat galore

I think Daily Photo kinda lost it's meaning. But oh well I think I'm starting to have a little more mood to take pictures.

Korean BBQ Buffet, located at Tampines T1, 4th floor, beside Challenger. I totally forgot what it's called. But it's relatively cheap, ended around $16.50 per person. However, and it is a huge however, you have a 2 hour time limit. Which isn't very strictly enforced I think?

My awesome creation

I have created the most awesome roll ever.
It's Teriyaki Chicken, wrapped in Bacon Strip, wrapped in Thin Pork Belly.

It tastes pretty darn good, less could be said about the ability to eat it without making a fool of yourself. It's too much to stuff in one go, and not enough structural integrity to sustain being bitten. It was awesome eating nothing but meat, the only complain I had was that the chopsticks were really hard to use. It's thin, but not over all, it's thin like it's flat. So if you had a cross-section diagram it'll look like a rectangle rather than a square.

Hung out at K's before heading for Basketball. Now I'm sore all over and practically didn't move at all today. Man, I'm definitely not looking forward to soccer tomorrow.

Rant: Basketball and playgrounds
Thursday, March 14, 2013

I'm starting to have a little bit more of a social life, though interaction with the obvious lack of opposite gender is a bit of a bummer. The downside to social interaction is that I don't have the time to do my personal projects; I could use a break though.

Celebrated C's birthday yesterday. Played ball today. Had supper as usual, then they decided to go play Crocodile at a playgronud nearby. We are all young adults

In case you have forgotten how to play Crocodile like I have, let me refresh your memory. There is 1 catcher and he can run around the playground and step on anything except one color that the victims  chose. The rest of the victims can run around the playground using whatever method, but their legs cannot touch the ground.

I didn't join them, for 3 reasons.
1. It's really embarrassing
2. I don't have the energy after sports
3. I have a slight phobia of jumping around high places
(I was injured rather badly in the past

I must admit that it is a really fun game and I really wanted to join in, but I'll prefer to have less injuries today.

C, on the other hand do not give a crap about being childish. Which is a good thing in this case. He even started playing with the 2 kids that happened to be at the playground. However, I realized it's a very delicate situation, it's very easy to be misunderstood as a pedophile, or a bully. That said, kids these days are really very different from our generation.

It was over 11pm, the 7 year old boy was running around a playground with a little girl. I must say that I'm a little jealous of his skills. He possess the aptitude to be a pimp in the future.

Well, I am really tired, have been reaching home after 12 recently. Finally have an entire day off tomorrow for myself. I must get something productive done.

p.s hopefully all these running around will put me back in shape.

Daily Photo #115 - Chinatown, Korean BBQ
Thursday, August 02, 2012

Went for korean BBQ near Chinatown yesterday. I really like the shot above.

Anyway, we played basketball under the unforgiving hot sun between 1 to 3+ then again from 4+ to 6. Which explains why we look like lobsters the next day. Sun burnt without a doubt, it is with great difficulty that we manage to get around the day without killing ourselves with those accidental rubs.

Unfortunately, I really can't recall the name of the place that we went to, but the servings are generous. It's sliced at an appropriate size, we're eating BBQ not sashimi mind you.

The signature dish from Korean BBQ is Beef. Thick slabs of beef. I am not a big fan of beef, I do eat them but I never really found them really tasty. Nope, this visit didn't change my impression of it. It's so tiring to chew them, it really trains your jaw muscles. Having someone to chew the food for me almost seemed like a better choice.

That said, the meat tastes great when the right sauce is applied. There's also pork and chicken, from which I cleared an entire plate of chicken all on my own! We ate from 7+ till 10, stuffing our stomach with whatever food we could lay our hands on. Needless to say, all the exercise from earlier on has gone down the drain regretfully.

Oh well, I need to work a little harder to be a little fitter. Fight on!

Daily Photo #113 - KFC extras
Friday, July 27, 2012

I bought KFC last night right before it's about to close.

It's the Ultimate Filler box that consists of 1 drumstick, 1 zinger, 1 whipped potato and a drink. The manager decided to give me 3 drumsticks, cheese fries AND whipped potato. (still charged me for the cheese fries though lol)

How kind of you, sir.

I was starving like crazy as I just finish basketball and haven't had dinner yet. Speaking of being hungry, I'm in school right now, its 11+ and I haven't eaten/drank a single thing since morning. (Except water of course)

Fuck the guy beside me! Well, I'm just gonna leave it there, later~
