This anime aired 8 years ago on 2004.

It's one of the top few animes in my heart. Recently the theme music started to play in my head non-stop. I don't know if I'm feeling sad or anything, but this is a beautiful piece of music. (it's in latin)

If you just Youtube for this music, you will see many many versions of it.

I think that if you watch anime, this if one of the series you definitely must watch. Sadly it's only 13 episodes but it's just ridiculous how good it is. A fair bit of warning though, this is an adult theme. So there are a lot of nudity and gore. The story is also really tragic, so prepare yourself for the emotional assault!

Well, I'm probably going to rewatch it once I have the time to do so. I'm currently at episode 31 of One Piece. Just over 500 to go. I realized that I actually do watch One Piece last time. Because everything felt familiar. Except for the first couple of episodes, I never knew how the hell the crew came together until now.

Oh well, this is going to one hectic week.

This anime came out this spring season. It has ended not long ago with the welcoming sight of the summer season's anime.

I watched the first episode and thought it was not bad, but I didn't continue as I was interested in some other animes and I didn't have that much time. However, I decided to download the whole season in a go and sat down to have a watch.

It was way better than I thought it would be! 

Plot
Yuki Sanada is a high school student who lives with his grandmother, a woman whose career requires frequent relocation which prevents the boy from establishing any real friendships, much less the social skills necessary to initiate them. When ever he becomes anxious, he freezes in place, unable to breathe, donning a markedly demonic expression—so potent with seemingly latent rage that others become wary of him at its appearance. Shortly after arriving at their home on the grandmother's most recently sanctioned work base, the island of Enoshima, a zealous transfer student named Haru—wielding a water gun and sporting a fish bowl atop his head—appears on their doorstep claiming to be an alien and that he will thenceforth be living in the same house; the grandmother agrees to allow such if Haru simply meets one condition (which is undisclosed to the audience). Haru's presence continually makes Yuki uncomfortable. The two also meet a secluded young fisher, Natsuki Usami, nicknamed "The Fishing Prince". An Indian boy named Akira watches Haru from a distance with his duck Tapioca.

It sounds absolutely nonsensical. That's because it is.

The entire show is about fishing and aliens. As boring/crazy as it may sound, it's a very interesting combination of both, producing a rather unique kind of comedy.

An example is this face the main character makes when he's stressed.

I'm totally hooked onto that song, apparently it's a remake by another band, the song is like from the 90s, still, it's totally my type of song, if you don't like it then I really don't think we can be good friends.

It's been quite a while since I haven't written anything for such a long time.
I'm alive and kicking. But I've been rewatching Code Geass.

I've watched countless of shows and anime after that, there have been really good ones, unforgettable ones. But really, Code Geass holds up against all else. It's really the best anime that I have ever watched and doubt there'll be anything that could surpass it.

There's 2 seasons, 50 episodes in total, which explains my long absence. That said, I've teared at almost every episode, because I know how it turns out in the end, every action made sense.

It's rare that I'm rambling on about something this much. However, it really is something else, enough to make me use Lelouch Lamperouge as my name online. I absolutely idolize the character.

If you've never watched it before, then watch it.

Alright that's enough fanaticism. I shall write a proper post along with some videos for the fun of it.

I am extremely amused and impressed with the torrent speeds I got today. 
And since you'll be too lazy to expand it,


Well, I have never ever gotten such speeds before. I usually max out at around 1.4mbps, so this is a record for me. Here's the thing, I have not change my internet to fiber optic yet!

There are people asking me why I haven't changed my internet yet, this is my reason. It's sufficiently fast, with normal downloads hitting 2.2MB/s. Sure, fiber optic will give me some drastic improvement, but at the moment the cost does not justify the results yet. At least not from the speeds that I'm seeing from my friends who have took the leap of faith.

Anyway, as you can tell from my downloads, the last season of anime has ended. The new one just started. With all the new episodes coming out like crazy. Just for the fun of it, here's the list of new animes I'm watching.

As you can tell there are quite a few promising ones this season. Most of them have excellent drawings as well, so you might as well just check out all of them as the range of genre is rather huge this season.

I'll probably write the reviews of some sort a couple weeks later when I have a better grasp of the animes. Maybe reviews of the ones that has ended, for the fun of it.

Well, thanks to the internet I'll be spending a lot of my time watching these shows.
p.s. I've downloaded 134GB out of 300hours the program was on in total.

This song came from an Anime called Nodame Cantabile. It has 3 seasons and it's aired a rather long time ago.

Plot Summary: At a top music academy in Japan, Shinichi Chiaki's arrogance is matched only by his top-notch piano playing. But when Chiaki and the teacher get into a fight, he's demoted to the reject class. Chiaki is left to pursue his dream of being a conductor while surrounded by a bunch of loser musicians and one annoying girl, Noda, who has proclaimed herself Chiaki's girlfriend. It doesn't help that Noda, who insists on being called Nodame, lives right next door to him.

This show is entirely about music. So if you don't have any interest in classical music at all; watch it anyway, because you might get into it after listening to some of the pieces! There's also a love/comedy situation going on, it's probably good enough on it's own to make you want to watch the entire Anime.

Watching this made me regret not learning piano at a younger age. Well, it's one of my life goals to learn how to play the piano before I die. That's a must. It's a blissful feeling to be able to get drunk on your own music. (sorry, direct chinese translation. 自我陶醉)

Anyway, big thanks to S for introducing to me this anime, else I would've missed out on something great.

I'm ashamed to say this, but I think I'm losing track of the animes. Like, I don't think I have the time or capacity to be watching every single ones that come out. It's unfortunate, because I would be missing out a lot of great shows.

However, for the sake of this post, I've downloaded the more interesting ones. And had watched at least 1~2 episodes of it.

Alright, this season is really great. There are a lot of new shows, but about half or more of them are worth watching. Which is an astounding change from the shitty shows last season.

I'm going to split them into different categories and rank them because, it's worth it to do so for this season.

Princess Sakura from Tsubasa: Revoir Chronicle

So.. I finally had the time to draw again.

Tsubasa Chronicle was my favourite anime before Code Geass. Sadly not a lot of my friends thing so, and the show was sadly cancelled before the 3rd season aired.

Well, I really like her. I would ask you to go and watch the show but well, it's released 7 years ago on 2005. It's probably quite hard to find it now. If you're able to miraculously able to find a way, don't hesitate and give it a go.

Anyway, I decided to draw this because my phone shuffled a really awesome song from the show.

So... I haven't been watching animes for at least 6~7 weeks.
Well the reason is plain as day when you see how little I'm updating my blog.

Here's the list of animes I'm currently watching.

The ones in bold are worth watching. The ones that is bold and highlighted are the ones I recommend watching.

Well, Guilty Crown, Natsume, Amagami are considered from the previous seasons so in a way they're not counted. The new ones are Another, and Kill Me Baby.

If you're wonder why I'm not recommending High School DxD, the reason is simple, it's just another stupid ecchi show with lots of tits. It's not bad to watch per say, but it's not the top of my list. (I'll recommend it if you have perverse interest in unnaturally bouncy breasts though)


Another, is a horror show. It feels similar to Blood-C. In fact, I thought of Blood-C the moment I started watching it. The way it's made feels rather similar, with dramatic pauses and eerie music to scare the shit out of you. I've only watched the first 2 episodes, but I like these kinda shows so I think it's going to go well. (I'm pretty sure there'll be lots of blood spilled)



Kill Me Baby, is a must watch for me. It doesn't have an amazing story line. It's just a pure comedy show with lots of tsukkomi & manzaishi action involved. I love the pointlessness of it. I laugh my ass off at every twist and turn of the story.
If I had to an example of what the show is similar to, I think it's like the mix between Seitokai Yakuindomo and Lucky Star. That should give you a pretty good idea (if you watched both of them)

Well, I'm sure I'll have some time to kill when my exams are over. I literally rush downloaded everything overnight. Roughly 30GB.

Anyway, on the topic of my boring life, I managed to clinch another A. I guess the hard ones lies ahead. I'm especially worried for tomorrow's exam since we really don't know what kind of format/how they are going to test us. Yes, they did not specify. Hell of an asshole of a school.

Oh wait before I end off, I must mention this, you might wanna watch the first 1 or 2 episodes of Senki Zesshou Symphogear, it's... meccha + mahou shoujo. But in order to fight, they have to sing. So when they enter a battle, they open their mouth, and sing throughout the entire battle while fighting physically with the enemies. I swear it looks ridiculous. Thanks to that every battle scene has some really epic music. Not really worth my time at the moment, but I'll just watch it when I have the time.

Well, I guess people who follow animes would've already watched them. (except maybe kill me baby). So well, your lord is trying to catch up.

Oh, surprisingly it only takes up 80GB. I think I'm lagging behind on 1 week's worth of anime. I think, I'm getting sick of it. Okay, wait, before you jump up in joy that I've gotten over japanese cartoon, I have to say, when I said sick of it, I didn't mean,

"Man I don't wanna watch them anymore."

It's more of a, I don't wanna watch them as and when I can anymore. Like, I'll only watch dramas when I eat nowadays. Except for Hunter x Hunter, I'm not sure why I have a particular fondness for it.

It's like, if I wanted to watch an anime, I would find a time just to watch it. Like how you would find a time slot to watch a movie that you've downloaded. That kind of feeling. There's no more, I'm bored, let's watch something. I don't seem to want to watch anime when I'm bored anymore. I don't know, maybe it's value just got upgraded from a time waster to something I'll appreciate? That or that my passion just isn't that strong for it anymore.

I would still love to learn how to draw for it though! 

Okay, I should probably write a meaningful post sometime soon. It has been pretty nonsensical for the past few weeks. Not really sure on what to write on though.

Actually, I'm getting a little bored of drawing anime, not that I'm good at it or anything, in fact I pretty much suck at it. But I feel like going into conceptual art. Oh well.

I could recognize roughly 90%+ of them. But these are from many seasons back.

This season's anime is... one hectic mess.

Not that there isn't anything worth watching. It's that there is a lot of shows WORTH watching. At the moment there are like 8 different animes queued up in my torrents and 3 of which are episode 1.
