Today is the last day of 2012.

Very strangely, it fills me with sadness and a weird sense of unwillingness. What changed? I remember when I was a very young chap, each new year brings me a great sense of hope and adventure.

Am I getting old? I'm supposedly in my primes and yet I feel rusted. Maybe because I haven't accomplished anything of significance this year. I probably won't look back and go, "2012 is the year where I did this!"

Of course, there probably aren't many years in your life that you will vividly remember, though mine is short in itself. To make things better, I will write things that I have accomplished that made me proud of myself in 2012. So when I read back next time, I will feel like I have led a fulfilling life.

1. I wrote a post that got me more than a thousand views. In fact, on the day of writing, I hit 1,764, 2nd day 2,597, 3rd day 1,506, 4th day 1,257. Where it finally drops and slowly flattens out to my normal traffic again. Getting views of well over 7k views in the span of 4 days is definitely a perk for me.

It's a freaking Kong Ming Deng, idk why it's heart-shaped btw

I am very frustrated that I missed the time and date for this post. Nevertheless, it could also show that I've actually survived through this ordeal, in a very awesome fashion in fact.

We went to celebrate a very belated birthday for my clumsy friend on 20th Dec. Annoyingly though, there was 1 person who wasn't free that day, yet again. Fucking E. What can be awesome about a rushed, belated birthday? Well, the people of course. 13 years and counting, that's how fucking long it has been since I've known them.

I'm ashamed to say this, but I think I'm losing track of the animes. Like, I don't think I have the time or capacity to be watching every single ones that come out. It's unfortunate, because I would be missing out a lot of great shows.

However, for the sake of this post, I've downloaded the more interesting ones. And had watched at least 1~2 episodes of it.

Just watching 18 animes concurrently. Nothing is impossible! Not to mention that I have some left over from the previous seasons. So.. well, watching 20++ shows is no problem!

Alright, this season is really great. There are a lot of new shows, but about half or more of them are worth watching. Which is an astounding change from the shitty shows last season.

I'm going to split them into different categories and rank them because, it's worth it to do so for this season.

This was taken on new year's as well.

The white streak is a plane passing by. I'm happy that I managed to capture it pretty well. I'm still pretty much stuck with painting my house. Finally done with my room. So I can finally sleep in it tonight.

Annoyingly, school starts tomorrow. Well people start working tomorrow too so there's nothing much to complain about. But schooling on the first week of new year is really.. not something I'm looking forward to. Still, gotta get it over and done with.

That was literally the fireworks that I saw.

No seriously. Because we decided to celebrate it at East Coast Park. (man, how many times have I went there recently?)


Back to the "fireworks", they're not fireworks of course, they're actually flares fired off from the ships off the coast, which is pretty darn cool if you ask me. When 2012 finally arrived all the ships started honking(?) in cohesion.

It cannot be compared to the splendor we would've witnessed if we went to town, but since subtlety is our goal I'll say we achieved that pretty nicely.

Before I get too carried away, let me first wish everyone a

2012 came faster that I thought it would and very soon I'll be older by another year again, time just grips on my throat tighter and tighter each passing year.

I've been asking people around about their resolutions, but  maybe we're too old for new year resolutions, or maybe we know it doesn't work, but no one seems to have any. Of course, I could give an exhausting list of goals for 2012, but after thinking about it for awhile, I only have one.

1. Stop wasting time.

When I looked back every year, it's not that I didn't do anything significant to improve myself one way or another, but I waste too much time focusing on things that are not important to me. So here's to myself in the next 364 days, stop wasting my time, seriously.
