Even though nothing particularly good or bad happened yesterday, apparently it was enough to entertain me throughout, causing me to totally forget about blogging.

Why was yesterday good?
Because I had a good balance of everything in life.

I went to school and studied what I loved. Played truancy and skipped a class. Had lunch with friends in school. Continued to do my FYP with my teammate, making great progress. Had a decent dinner,watched a show. Then played games with friends before sleeping.

I don't know man, maybe everyone lives like this all the time, but I don't. It has been a long time since I've had such good balance in my life. Working, rebelling, socializing, playing.

So a mini-rant about my FYP. Finally implemented the Halal / Non-Halal option. Search is working with proper error handling. The only annoying thing is that the Halal option doesn't stick throughout the entire app. You have to toggle it every time.

This has been really hard. I have to use like 4 programming languages to make this work. Java, HTML5, MySQL, PHP. (I'm trying to avoid Javascript for now) Sadly, only Java and SQL being taught in school. Also, having to set up my own servers is a pain.

However, thanks this I'm getting exposed to more stuff, and I'm loving my desktop more and more as it takes all the work I throw at it and churn it down like tofu. Well, I'll just end it off with the ridiculously long list of food in Food Court 3.

I've been thinking about this for awhile and I've figured it out. But I never really could put them into words very clearly.

This however, changed while I was reading a book today. Well, technically it isn't a book since I read it on my phone, but whatever, let's skip over the details and move on to the big picture.

Girls, you can say whatever you like, but you know that you always fall for jerks. That's the fact of the matter. And guys? Trust me, I'm a jerk too nice of a dude.


The normal way is, "girls like bad boys". Technically, that isn't wrong. But I'm not going into that today. What I'll be talking about, is called  CONTRAST. 

It's only after you've been a giant dickhead that people will appreciate the nice gestures that you do.

Just watched this with my gay friday gang. No, I don't mean it literally. Wait, I mean I literally watched it, but they're not gay. Sorry for the confusion.

Moving on,


I won't say that it's great, but it's good.

It is essentially just humans controlling robots for boxing. The fighting and all is great. The storyline is also pretty solid, except that it's cliche. You could more or less predict the story from about... 5mins in. I'm serious!

Still, it doesn't make it bad in anyway. In fact, being good even though it's so damn cliche is pretty amazing in itself. The soundtrack is awesome, you feel the awesomeness of the robot in all of the fights.



That's... about it! There is nothing really memorable about it. It's just a pretty good one.

I would give it a 7/10 and IMBD gave it a 6.9/10 so I'll say that we're pretty close! So yeah, go catch it if you're looking for a movie. Cause honestly there's nothing else interesting that's airing right now.
