I am very frustrated that I missed the time and date for this post. Nevertheless, it could also show that I've actually survived through this ordeal, in a very awesome fashion in fact.

We went to celebrate a very belated birthday for my clumsy friend on 20th Dec. Annoyingly though, there was 1 person who wasn't free that day, yet again. Fucking E. What can be awesome about a rushed, belated birthday? Well, the people of course. 13 years and counting, that's how fucking long it has been since I've known them.

feels like I've seen this before somewhere

Living in a multiracial country, it brings me great pleasure whenever we have holidays thanks to the other ethnic groups.

Hari Raya Haji is a public holiday here, a celebration for the Muslims, but I have never understood the difference between Hari Raya Haji and Hari Raya Puasa. (is there anything else?) Sadly, even though it's finally a day off, even though it's a Friday day off, even though we wanted to do a 10 hour something, that dream wasn't realized.

My friends decided that shopping with girls is a much better activity than playing/exercising/studying for 10 hours. Fuck that, I hate shopping with girls. It might be interesting the first few times, but it's too much of a hassle if I'm not trying to bone her or anything. Which seems exactly like what they're trying to do.

So what, am I going to waste such a precious day off all cooped up in my room? Hell no. Even a hikikomori-like like me wouldn't be bored on a day like this. Especially since the weather's been acting up, like a female on pms. Hence, I've chosen to go hang out with the bros from the good ol' days. Haven't seen them in months, made possible courtesy of the dreaded national service.

Oh also, I finally remembered to had the time design the blogshop I was talking about. Since it's supposed to be something simple, here's how it looks like at it's infancy. Looks pretty much like every other normal blogshop I guess.

Recently, I have the urge to make a music cover. Let's hope I get over this little inferiority complex and maybe I would post it up or something. Till then, my life is really being dragged to the dumps by all the schooling.

Why would you style your hair when you're going to play in the sun?

For some reason I really liked this shot

I went to Sentosa with my classmates the other day. Since we're not going to USS or some other stuffs there, I don't understand the appeal of the crazily hot beach. It looked like it was going to rain at first, with ominous clouds loitering the skies, but the sea breeze blew them right off!



Of course, there also isn't an abundance of female to guy ratio, which made me even less motivated. But surprisingly it was a rather interesting day out. There was volley ball, frisbee, captain's ball and a lot of running around. Running towards places with shades that is.

Half way through, a bunch of SP guys asked if we wanted to play captain's ball with them. Of course, it's only because they didn't have a ball and we actually have girls with us. *inserts maniac laughter* But of course, the 6 of us shred their asses to pieces. It's rather shocking how good we are actually, or maybe they felt shy and held back or something.

Well, I didn't actually take a lot of pictures because I'm more interested in playing around in the sun that day. I probably became darker, though the effect is not as pronounced as I thought it would be.

However, I did manage to take quite a few shots that I liked.





I've applied a lot of filters in this batch of pictures. Mainly cause I downloaded some new ones and wanted to test them out. They turned out pretty okay!

I suddenly realized that I don't write a lot about the food I eat. Unlike my other friend Y, who almost exclusively write about food. I realized that because I wanted to write something about dinner, but I totally don't have any pictures of the food at all.

So after dinner, we actually thought of going over to B's house and play Mahjong overnight. But we were so shagged, the only choice was to get some rest at home. The story did not end there though, we decided to meet up at 8am the next day to play. Everything proceeded as planned the next day, but we got bored after playing for about 5 hours. The obvious thing to do next? Basketball! We played only for a little while though. Maybe an hour? Before heading to have lunch.

I'll say that this has been a rather excellent way to end my holidays. To end off this post, I'll put up a picture of my friend. He said and I quote, "If you put my handsome face up your blog, you'll get a thousand views immediately."

We will find out soon enough, won't we? ^^

Prepare for blastoff!

It's not like I'm extremely busy or anything, it just seems like everyday, before I realize it, it's time to sleep. Don't know if that made sense, but it's just how it is! 

Last Friday my friends wanted to try the reverse bungee at clarke quay. I gladly obliged to go along for dinner, but no way in hell I'm paying money to scare the shit out of my pants. I've never been fond of amusement rides, mainly because I have motion sickness and all the unnecessary movements is literally hell for me.

They're (my friends) are a crazy bunch of people because they took both rides, 1 that shoots them up directly, and another which swings them from a ridiculously high place.

The interesting thing about this ride is that the person riding has to press the trigger to go down. They described it as: "Because you're facing down, you're only supported by your seat harness and it feels like you're gonna drop out anytime." Damn, I get the shudders just thinking about it.

As they press the release they swing violently from the top to the other side, which is hard to describe or photograph, so have fun waiting for the video. (p.s. all these are snapshots from the videos)


We then went to Saizeriya at Liang Court for dinner and some of them were acting like drunkards even though not a single drop of alcohol was in sight.

This was an interesting outing with new additions to the group, I look forward to more of these.

Last Friday, my friend promised to cook me dinner.

I said, "Hell no! Let's go somewhere else to eat instead."
But he insisted. Claiming that there is deliciousness to be found beyond his words. "I'll prepare some other food as well!"

The result is plain as day.

Moral of the story.
"Never trust a guy with cooking."

Well, another guy W, also screwed up on making the pasta sauce couple weeks ago. This recent incident reinforced my distrust in the cooking of my gender. That said, I'm not a terrible cook, cause I'm a genius.

Oh well whatever, it was funny because couple hours later he had a really bad stomachache.

Avengers!

Fuck yeah! Finally caught Avengers. It's awesome.


I loved it. But really, if it's just Iron Man in it, I would've still love it. Since... technological super heroes are kind of my role model.

Overslept today thanks to my phone hanging in the middle of the night.
It's 2am and I'm not asleep.
It's raining cats and dogs outside with lightning, thunder and that whole deal.
Trying to learn some more excel skills for financial planning.
Writing like this cause I'm really tired.
A freaking bright lightning just lit up my room.
Along with a low rumbling thunder.
I just don't feel like sleeping at the moment.
Yawns.

I'm finally free from the hassles of a work life.

There's this lingering vegeance towards my school for taking away our well-deserved rest. But well, there's no point crying over spilt milk.

Here's a summary of what happened on Friday.

Ate Astons, Haagen Dazs, Ichiban.
Climbed down 26 storeys.

Finally reached the first floor

Why?Because we felt like it. Apparently there's another retard who wanted to try doing it, cause we didn't get to the other day during the fire drill.

Well, I've never climbed the stairs from such a high level before, so it's kind of a "why not?".

If I were to describe it with one word; fun, isn't the one I'll use. It is, however, a really interesting experience.

I actually planned to write something really interesting today. But you know, I still haven't recover yet. Damn this flu of mine. I should really stop sleeping late. Oh, I slept late yesterday cause I fucked up my phone really bad. Got stuck in a boot loop. Couldn't boot into recovery. But well, after an hour or two, finally managed to revive it and it's up and running.

In short, fuck this shit I need some sleep.

That's the gist of what yesterday was about.

We watched The Hunger Games at Tiong Bahru yesterday because the town cinemas only had the front rows available, curses for not booking early.


What up! For the record, I haven't read the book yet, so this movie was really awesome. It's not mind blowing in any sense. It's just a really nice story. It's rare these days to have movies to have a real plot that is worth watching even though there isn't a heck lot of visual flare (not that there is little in this show)

Verdict:
Watch it.

Just watched this with my gay friday gang. No, I don't mean it literally. Wait, I mean I literally watched it, but they're not gay. Sorry for the confusion.

Moving on,


I won't say that it's great, but it's good.

It is essentially just humans controlling robots for boxing. The fighting and all is great. The storyline is also pretty solid, except that it's cliche. You could more or less predict the story from about... 5mins in. I'm serious!

Still, it doesn't make it bad in anyway. In fact, being good even though it's so damn cliche is pretty amazing in itself. The soundtrack is awesome, you feel the awesomeness of the robot in all of the fights.



That's... about it! There is nothing really memorable about it. It's just a pretty good one.

I would give it a 7/10 and IMBD gave it a 6.9/10 so I'll say that we're pretty close! So yeah, go catch it if you're looking for a movie. Cause honestly there's nothing else interesting that's airing right now.
